Lakefield's Outdoor Education Students Conquer Camp Medeba!
On April 25, our Grade 10 and 11 Outdoor Education (OE) students travelled to Camp Medeba in Haliburton for the annual "Adrenaline Day!" experience.
Through an exciting series of team-building activities, students sharpened their leadership and communication skills. The 700-foot zipline, Giant Swing, Artificial Ice wall climb and various high ropes team elements all provided opportunities to take calculated risks and push themselves beyond what they thought was possible. These challenges are not only thrilling, but also require strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a healthy dose of courage.
Overall, their day at Camp Medeba was an unforgettable experience; they not only had a great time connecting with each other but also gained valuable skills and improved their confidence in their ability to accomplish physically and mentally challenging feats.
