Our Grade 10 and 11 Outdoor Education students recently travelled to Camp Medeba in Haliburton for our annual Adrenaline Day! While following all safety guidelines, our students were able to challenge themselves and push their limits on the 40-foot ice climbing wall, giant swing, and 700-foot zipline.
“Camp Medeba was really fun because... I was able to enjoy the adrenaline of doing things I like after more than a year [of COVID]. My favourite [part of the day] was how everyone supported each other on the ice climbing wall and encouraged you to get to the top. Without it, it would've been impossible for me.” - Charlie Hernandez ’23
Both days had brilliant sunshine and it was so great getting off campus for a new adventure. It is safe to say that our students achieved their goals, spent quality time encouraging one another, and demonstrated amazing personal growth.
