Athlete of the Month: November 2020
The Athletics Department awards the Grove Athlete of the Month to one boy and one girl at the end of every month, who demonstrate good sportsmanship and excel in their given co-curricular.
The first award was presented to Nathan Smith '24 for his participation in Boys' Hockey. Nathan always has a smile on his face and works tirelessly both in practice and in scrimmages. He is a skilled player and a good teammate and the Boys' Hockey team looks forward to seeing what the rest of Nathan's hockey career will bring him.
The second award was presented to Sarah Ferguson '23 for her participation in Girls' Volleyball. Sarah has demonstrated enthusiasm and dedication to the team. She is a vocal leader and always brings zest and enthusiasm to practice. She makes playlists for the team and challenges herself to keep improving her skills on the court. She has shown leadership to new students and is always cheering on her peers. She is eager to run warmups and lead drills.
