Memories in the Making: Highlights from LCS's Unforgettable 15th Annual Gladiator Day
On Wednesday, June 7, Lakefield College School students took part in the much-anticipated 15th annual Gladiator Day!
Festivities began right after classes as students gathered in the McEwen Gym, full of energy, and ready to kick off the day with chariot races. Echoes of Paper House cheers rang throughout the gym as students rallied support for their peers and let their competitive streak shine.
Throughout the afternoon, the campus came alive with a dynamic blend of indoor and outdoor activities to keep energy levels high. Students engaged in exhilarating challenges like the thrilling "Minute to Win It," action-packed dodgeball matches, waterfront relay races, lively kickball games, epic jousting battles, and intense tug-of-war competitions.
As the day drew to a close, students gathered by the waterfront to enjoy a BBQ dinner together.
Thank you to all the staff that volunteered, and to the School Life class for organizing one of the most spirited days of the year!
