Student Exchanges

Lakefield College School’s membership in Round Square makes it possible for our Grade 10 students to participate in exchanges with students from more than 180 Round Square schools around the world. Typically, these exchanges are 4-6 weeks long (approx 1 mod). LCS Grade 9 students who attain a minimum overall average of 85% on their February report cards may be eligible for immediate acceptance to the Grade 10 Exchange Program the following year.  This is contingent on their application being approved by the Global Learning Committee, which takes into consideration the confidential reference students receive from both their advisor and head of house, as well as other factors.  Students who attain an overall average of 82 – 84% on their Grade 9 February report card may be granted conditional acceptance for the Grade 10 Exchange Program, pending receipt of their final marks in June.
