Providing Opportunities to Outstanding Students
With over 40 different countries and eight Canadian provinces represented on campus, we are incredibly proud of the diversity of students who attend LCS. Our students represent a breadth and depth of backgrounds and experiences. We believe strongly that our community is enriched by a variety of perspectives and are committed to providing opportunities to outstanding students through needs-based funding. Each year, approximately 30% of our students receive support through our tuition management programme.
In addition to tuition assistance, we are pleased to offer incoming students the opportunity to apply to receive an Entrance Award of Distinction.

Athletics
Participation in individual and team sports has long been recognized as a vehicle for the development of a student's character and leadership potential.To have students learn and understand the principle of cooperation, in the interest of achieving their best performance, is a fundamental goal of our athletics program. The LCS coaches, who are committed LCS faculty members, embody these principles; some have competed professionally, at the university level and represented Canada.

Musical Theatre
LCS has a longstanding history of educating “artists and athletes.” A strong musical theatre program integrates many disciplines: instrumental and vocal music, drama, dance and visual art (production).Learn more

Team Racing (Sailing)
For over 140 years, the school has been providing meaningful experiences through boating, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and other activities connecting students to the water and their environment.Our Team Racing program fosters teamwork, strategy and leadership skills and in so doing, promotes a positive school culture. It is a sport packed with opportunities that teach self-reliance, adaptability, and resilience among other things.

Nordic Skiing
Our Nordic program takes advantage of the natural beauty of our fields and woods, encouraging students to be outdoors every day while developing a love of nature, perseverance and grit.Students from around the world have an opportunity to experience all that a Canadian winter and our beautiful campus has to offer, including over 12 km of groomed and backcountry ski trails, as part of our Nordic Ski team.
