Typical Day
Daily Schedule
The typical weekday at Lakefield College School consists of academics, athletics, co-curricular and community activities. There is so much to learn and experience and we want to make sure that our students have the best possible schedule — one that allows them to engage in deep learning and transformative experiences. With small average class sizes of 14, students have the opportunity for meaningful daily learning with their teachers. Extra help is available with teachers, advisors and tutors during Grove Time, after school and during study time in the evenings.
Students also enjoy a full range of all-community activities with their peers such as community gatherings, house meetings, house events, paper house and spirit events during the course of their program day.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong
Last week, the Page to Stage integrated Grade 10 English and Drama class performed their version of Peter Pan Goes Wrong, a play by the Mischief Theatre Company. As the title implies, it is the story of Peter Pan but whose execution is full of mishaps. This play within a play was full of technical hitches, high school love interests and COVID protocols getting in the way of the characters finding their way in Neverland.Read More -

Students learned about and celebrated Día de los Muertos, with the Grade 11 Spanish class engaging in a variety of learning activities throughout last week to explore and understand the traditions and spiritual elements of this celebration.Read More -

Students in Ms. Rogers’ Grade 11 Physics class put their learning to work in a culminating project building balloon-powered car, applying lessons learned about force, distance and energy.Read More -
