Career Day is an annual tradition at The Grove providing students with an opportunity to make a connection between their academic interests and future professional endeavors. In addition to this learning opportunity, Career Day gives students, alumni, parents and friends the occasion to develop meaningful connections for the future.

Rakesh Rajdev is the owner of Optimus Technical Solutions, a leading IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) headquartered in Toronto, ON. With a passion for technology and problem-solving, Rakesh ventured into the world of IT at a young age. However, his path into IT wasn’t apparent at first. Rakesh obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours Biology) and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Queen’s University. After completing his studies and struggling to find a meaningful career, Rakesh founded Optimus in 2015, when he discovered a significant gap in the IT provider market. Optimus provides consulting and support services to clients across North America and Europe. The company is dedicated to empowering clients with innovative solutions by utilizing cutting-edge technology and providing unparalleled customer service tailored to each client’s unique needs.
The success and knowledge gained from his experiences have provided Rakesh with the opportunity to pursue his passion for entrepreneurship, allowing him to invest and develop other business ventures.

Lakefield College School is a private, coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9 through 12, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.
