Enrichment Programs

Our Enrichment programs combine focused learning with traditional camp excitement. Mornings are dedicated to exploring new outdoor activities and experiencing hands-on skills in their chosen program, while afternoons allow campers to personalize their day by choosing from a variety of classic camp activities. It’s the ideal program for those eager to learn and try new things while enjoying the full camp experience.

  • Grove Adventures: 14+ I 4 Sessions: Starting June 30 to August 1

    Grove Adventures is a week of traditional LCS activities to make the most of our beautiful campus in the summer months. Campers will be outdoors every day, swimming, canoeing, bouldering, visiting the farm, doing arts and crafts, playing games, and more! Campers will have activity choices each afternoon to personalise their experience as they seek new adventures! The overnight option is rounded out by evening programming at our beautiful waterfront campus.

    $1,240 - Overnight
    Overnight campers arrive the day before the program start date before dinner; exact arrival time will be shared closer to the program.

    Optional weekend excursions are available for an additional cost (e.g., Canada's Wonderland; 4th Line Theatre). Select excursions during registration.

    Prerequisites
    Campers must be turn 14 by December 31, 2025.
  • GROVE PREP FOR GRADE 9 | 2 Sessions: Starting AUGUST 11 to AUGUST 22

    In this five-day program, students will spend half of the day engaging in hands-on academic activities designed to re-engage important academic skills and knowledge that will support a successful entry to Grade 9. For the other half of the day, they will enjoy traditional camp activities and fun that allow them to experience sports that may be part of their high school experience as well as recreational outdoor activities. The overnight program is rounded out by evening programming on our beautiful rural waterfront campus.

  • OUTDOOR ADVENTURE PREP (Overnight only)| 1 Session: AUGUST 18 - AUGUST 29

    This program is intended for incoming LCS students who are eager to explore or expand their outdoor skills and confidence. Learn or improve upon your canoe skills, enjoy the great outdoors, refine wilderness skills and techniques, and camp in sequentially more challenging and exciting outdoor experiences — all while introducing yourself to the beautiful LCS campus and being outdoors every day!

    Entry fees, food, transport, and accommodation for weekend excursions are included in program price. 

    Prerequisites
    There are no academic prerequisites for this program.
    Campers must be entering into Grades 9-12 in September, 2025.

Lakefield College School Summer Academy and Programs provide enrichment camps and credit courses for campers ages 4-18, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.
