Grove Prep for Grade 9

In this five-day program, through fun hands-on learning experiences, students will review key academic skills that are important for success in Grade 9. In the afternoons, they will enjoy a wide array of traditional camp activities and sports. Grove Prep for Grade 9 will help students feel more prepared, academically and socially, for a confident start to Grade 9 in the Fall.

  • GROVE PREP FOR GRADE 9 | 2 Sessions: Starting AUGUST 11 to AUGUST 22

    In this five-day program, students will spend half of the day engaging in hands-on academic activities designed to re-engage important academic skills and knowledge that will support a successful entry to Grade 9. For the other half of the day, they will enjoy traditional camp activities and fun that allow them to experience sports that may be part of their high school experience as well as recreational outdoor activities. The overnight program is rounded out by evening programming on our beautiful rural waterfront campus.

    Overnight campers arrive the day before the program start date before dinner; exact arrival time will be shared closer to the program.

    Optional weekend excursions are available for an additional cost (e.g., Canada's Wonderland; 4th Line Theatre). Select excursions during registration.

    Prerequisites
    Campers must be entering Grade 9 in September 2025.

Lakefield College School Summer Academy and Programs provide enrichment camps and credit courses for campers ages 4-18, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.
