Snow Sculptures, Carriage Rides, and Campfires: The Best of Our Winter Carnival
Our annual Winter Carnival was once again a huge success, with students, staff, and faculty coming together to enjoy many classic Canadian wintertime festivities and activities. Despite the windy weather, the spirit of the day was warm and cheerful, as everyone took part in various events and competitions.
From the moment the carnival began, it was clear that this was going to be a day of outdoor fun and adventure. Tobogganing, snow sculpture competitions, carriage rides, snowshoeing, and campfires were just some of the many activities on offer, and there was something for everyone to enjoy.
One of the highlights of the day was the snow sculpture competition, where teams of students and staff showed off their creative skills and competed against one another to build the most impressive and imaginative snow sculptures. Another favourite activity was the carriage rides, where students and staff took a leisurely ride through the beautiful winter landscape, taking in the stunning scenery and enjoying each other's company. Meanwhile, the campfires provided a warm and cozy space where everyone could relax, chat, and enjoy a hot drink.
Winter Carnival is more than just an event, it's a celebration of the school's strong sense of community and the importance of embracing the great outdoors. It's a heartwarming sight to see students, staff, and families of different ages and life stages come together to have fun, support each other, and create new memories.
