LCS Rowing Team Shines at Peterborough High School Challenge!
The LCS Rowing Team achieved a stunning finish at the Peterborough High School Challenge, emerging as City Champions in multiple categories.
Under the guidance of their coach, Mr. Bemrose, LCS rowers showcased their prowess on the water, clinching top honours in an array of events. Our rowers triumphed in the Mixed 8+, Senior Women’s Quad, Senior Women’s Single, Senior Women’s Double, and both the Junior and Senior Women’s Fours, cementing their status as formidable competitors in the city of Peterborough.
Additionally, the Senior Men’s Double demonstrated their strength and determination by securing a commendable second-place finish!
These remarkable achievements are a testament to the hard work and perseverance. Our rowers’ success not only reflects their dedication to the sport but also underscores the values of excellence and sportsmanship upheld at Lakefield College School.
