LCS Alumna Catherine Kim ’20: A Rising Star in Musical Theatre

Lakefield College School alumna Catherine Kim ’20 is making waves in her final year at the University of Arizona’s Acting/Musical Theatre program. This year, she shines in the lead role of Bright Star, earning rave reviews for her performance.

Broadway World critic Zach Wetzel praises her portrayal of Alice Murphy, saying, "Catherine Kim is a revelation... Her voice is transcendent, and her acting is nuanced and genuine."

At LCS, Catherine was no stranger to the spotlight, starring in major roles in Damn Yankees, Mamma Mia, and Chicago.

As she prepares to graduate, Catherine has her sights set on New York City, where she plans to pursue a career in theatre.
