A Taste of Comfort: Culinary Arts Students Master the Art of Beef Stew
Nothing says "comfort" like a warm, hearty beef stew! Under the guidance of Chef Evan Podd, our Culinary Arts students put their skills to work last week, creating a dish perfect for the season.
We love exploring seasonality in our cooking, choosing meals that bring both comfort and joy. This stew was not only a delicious choice but also a great learning opportunity—Chef taught students about different cuts of meat, cooking techniques, and the process of braising to tenderize tougher cuts of beef.
As we celebrate Family Day, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the warmth of home-cooked meals and the memories they create. A big thank you to our talented students for sharing their culinary creations with us!
