We commend our students for their achievements and are excited to see how their journeys will continue to unfold in the months ahead. It’s important to remember that many highly competitive programs, or those requiring supplementary materials (like essays or portfolios), may take longer to process. As a result, offers from these programs may not arrive until April or even May. So even if your student has not received an offer yet, there is plenty of time for additional offers to come through.

The university admission process can take several months, and not receiving an offer right away is not cause for concern. We understand that for some families, especially those whose students are waiting to hear from their top-choice universities, the process can feel stressful. However, many more offers will come in the coming weeks and months as universities continue to review applications and updated grades.

As a reminder, updated marks were sent to universities in mid-February, and they will be sent again in late April and at the end of June. It's essential to note that all offers of admission are conditional on the final grades in June. Students can expect to continue receiving offers of admission over the next several months, depending on the schools and programs to which they have applied. Offers of admission are always conditional on students’ final grades in June.

Students are reminded to check their email and university portals regularly, as universities will be in direct contact with them regarding their offers and any next steps.

If you have any questions about the post-secondary application process or your student’s status, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s guidance counsellor. We are here to support both students and families throughout this process. We are incredibly proud of all our students and look forward to supporting them as they navigate the next steps of their post-secondary journey!
