Recognizing Black History Month Through Literature
In recognition of Black History Month, throughout February, LCS staff are showcasing some of their favourite books written by Black authors. Organized by DEI Club leader, Ms. Dayna Taylor, each day this month we will share a post on social media containing a book recommendation from one of our teachers or staff members.
Our goal is to bring attention to the diverse range of voices and perspectives in literature while encouraging our community to explore and discover new books.
Whether you're an avid or occasional reader, we hope these recommendations will spark your curiosity!
