This week, we welcomed our first-ever LCS Dance Intensive campers onto our beautiful campus. Over the past five days, our dancers pushed themselves to learn new skills, refine their existing talents, and explore new, creative opportunities through fun and challenging choreography.
Throughout the week, they delved into various dance styles, including ballet, improv, musical theatre, jazz, and contemporary styles under the guidance of professional dancers, instructors, and LCS Dramatic Arts and Dance Teacher, Rachel Bemrose. The beautiful summer weather allowed this group to take their practice outdoors where they could connect with nature as they navigated different forms of movement in natural spaces.
Today, their fellow Summer Academy campers from other programs were invited to watch their final performance, which they’ve been perfecting since Monday. We are thrilled to see the program they have poured so much energy and enthusiasm into learning. Stay tuned next week for highlights from the performance!
