American Mathematics Contest 12 (AMC 12)
American Mathematics Contest 12 (AMC 12)—A multiple choice contest for students in grades 11 and 12 that occurs in November; organized by the Mathematical Association of America.
Top Result at LCS—For earning the top score at LCS.
Team Member—For earning one of the top 3 scores at LCS. Team score was 252, out of a maximum possible score of 450.
Honor Roll—For ranking in the top five percent of all contest participants worldwide.
Honor Roll of Distinction—For ranking in the top one percent of all contest participants worldwide.
AIME Qualifier—For earning an invitation to the American Invitational Mathematics Examination.
Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest
A long answer contest that is written in November, organized by the University of Waterloo. Responses are assessed not just for a correct final answer, but for the form, style, and clarity of the entire solution. The maximum possible score is 60.
School Champion and Medal Winner—For earning the top score at LCS at an achievement level higher than a threshold determined by the University of Waterloo.
Certificate of Distinction—For ranking in the top twenty-five percent of all contest participants worldwide.
Provincial Honour Roll—Across the province of Ontario, the following students earned Honour Roll positions, a rare achievement.

Zone Honour Roll—Lakefield’s geographic zone for the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest contest includes all schools in Pickering, Port Hope, Whitby, Lindsay, Peterborough, Courtice, Bowmanville, Port Perry, Oshawa, and the Haliburton area. Within this area, the following students earned Honour Roll positions.

Fermat Contest
A multiple choice contest typically written by grade 11 students that occurs in February, organized by the University of Waterloo. The maximum possible score is 150 points. 16819 students participated worldwide this year.

Trinity College School placed 4th.

Team Results—Across the province of Ontario, the team comprised of the three students listed below earned 49th place overall out of 717 schools, and across all of Canada, placed 88th out of 1095 schools.
Zone Team Results—The combined score of this group of three students earned Lakefield College School 2nd place in our area of Ontario, which includes all schools in Pickering, Port Hope, Whitby, Lindsay, Peterborough, Courtice, Bowmanville, Port Perry, Oshawa, and the Haliburton area. We missed first place by just three points. Trinity College School placed 3rd.
