Congratulations to LCS Rower Morgan Harris-Stoertz ’24!
LCS Rower Morgan Harris-Stoertz ’24 competed at the South Niagara Invitational Regatta in Welland, Ontario and won Gold in the Senior Women’s 63kg Single!
In a very competitive division, featuring 18 scullers from schools all over Toronto, Niagara, and Buffalo, Morgan ’24 won her heat with ease and cruised to victory in the ‘A‘ final, winning by 11 seconds! The following day, she time-trialed in the Senior Women’s Open Single and placed an impressive 6th overall!
Morgan ’24 has been training hard all year (sometimes completing multiple workouts per day) and she is poised to do very well at the Canadian Championships in St. Catharines.
