Career Day

Career Day is an annual tradition at The Grove providing students with an opportunity to make a connection between their academic interests and future professional endeavors. In addition to this learning opportunity, Career Day gives students, alumni, parents and friends the occasion to develop meaningful connections for the future.

Patrick Fruchet P ’26

Consultant (former United Nations Official) / International Affairs

Patrick Fruchet P ’26 is a landmine clearance expert. He is a management consultant specializing in strategy, training, coaching, and mentorship in mine action and beyond. Before his consulting career, he worked for the United Nations for twenty years, most recently as Country Director for Afghanistan at the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and previously as Deputy Director for East Africa for the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). 
 
Based in New York City, United States, Patrick started his international assistance career as a UNICEF Communications Officer in Kosovo in 2000. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from McGill University and a master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
