Students Multiply Their Skills at the Canadian Team Mathematics Contest at UWaterloo
On April 8, six of our stellar problem solvers—Veda ’26, Angel ’27, Dora ’27, Joseph ’27, Dale ’26, and Chase ’26—traveled to the University of Waterloo to compete in the Canadian Team Mathematics Contest. They joined students from over 20 schools across Canada for a day of fun, challenging math!
The event featured three exciting rounds: an individual portion, a full-team challenge, and a thrilling final relay. Throughout the day, our students worked together, sharpened their collaboration and communication skills, and tackled some intriguing math problems.
The day wrapped up with a fascinating guest lecture and Q&A session from Waterloo faculty, who discussed how neural networks power innovations in AI—like the technology behind ChatGPT and other cutting-edge tools.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore math, teamwork, and the future of technology all in one amazing day!
